Nestled among the south-facing slopes of the majestic Grand Mesa is Stone Forest. At the core of this unique sixty-acre facility, is the geodesic dome gathering hall with a fully equipped kitchen and a window wall where outdoors and indoors merge to create an extraordinary setting.
Retreat visitors are able to relax and enjoy the 360 degree vistas, the intimate moss rock and juniper forest, and the spa-quality bathhouse and steam room. Stone Forest provides comfortable camping in dorm style platform tents. If required, traditional accommodations are available in nearby Cedaredge, CO.
Our vision in building Stone Forest was to create a beautiful place that supported and facilitated people coming together with open hearts, and connecting with themselves, with others, and with Mother Nature.

We offer our facility for rent to life-affirming groups who desire exquisite natural surroundings for conducting their own retreats. Stone Forest is a wonderful setting for small business team-building and retreats, a creative location for groups of artists, writers or photographers, and a healing place for alternative care group sessions or church groups.
